Our story begins with two parents in front of a school essay:

“I read the essay, but didn’t you want to be an astronaut when you grew up?” “I changed my mind, now I want to be an Instagrammer!” A parental couple has to choose whether to respond with a big ‘No’ to their child’s ambitions to become an Instagrammer.

Better then to provide little Daniele with the right tools to make him grow up social conscious, thus realising his aspirations. The mother’s brilliant idea is to teach him the language of photography by taking him to the park every Saturday morning in search of the perfect shot.

Far from discouraging Daniele, this immersion in photography also attracts the attention of his friends. Thus begins the adventure: they experiment, discover, play and tell reality with a different perspective. A book tailor made for curious children that deals with difficult topics such as social media and photographic language in a fun and conscious way, thanks also to the author’s experience, who when she is not absorbed in creating children’s books, is busy with teaching art and new media.
