Il mondo di Gabri

Gabriella Giandelli was born in Milan in 1963, where she currently resides and works. In 1984, she published her ­rst comics in the magazine Alter Alter, followed by contributions to Frigidaire, Dolce Vita, Strapazin, Beaux Arts, and Black. She has published comic books for both Italian and foreign publishers. At the same time, she works as an illustrator, often collaborating with newspapers, weeklies and publishing houses including La Repubblica, Il Manifesto, Il Sole 24 Ore, Internazionale, Seuil, Mondadori. She is also active as a designer and has designed carpets and fabrics for Alchimia and Memphis and objects for Alessi and Swatch.
