Bucharest: Italy guest of honour at the Book Fair

After Prague, Sharjah and Paris, Italy will be the guest of honour at the next edition of the Bucharest Book Fair to be held from 24 to 28 May 2023. The title of Italy’s participation in the Romanian book fair is ‘Anima latina’.

The press conference for the presentation of the event, held on 27 May, was attended by the Italian Ambassador to Romania, Alfredo Durante Mangoni, the president of the Publishers’ Association of Romania, Grigore Arsene, the director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Bucharest, Laura Napolitano, and the director of the Bucharest office of ICE-Agency for the promotion of Italian companies abroad, Micaela Soldini. The Italian writers guesting the event will be Pietrangelo Buttafuoco, Vichi De Marchi, Helena Janeczek, Nicola Lagioia, Melania Gaia Mazzucco, Piergiorgio Odifreddi, Vanni Santoni, Andreea Simionel, Stenio Solinas, Matteo Strukul, Marcello Veneziani.
