Zanmi. Diario di un’amicizia

Zanmi. Diary of a Friendship

Giovanni, almost thirteen, reluctantly spends the Christmas holidays at a Caribbean resort instead of in the snow. Behind a palm tree he meets a local boy, and boredom gives way to a mystery and an unexpected friendship. Told in the form of a diary, the story brings together two teenagers from distant worlds, inviting readers to overcome cultural distance and prejudice through listening, solidarity and the wish to know one another.
