Sharjah International Book Fair: Italy Guest of Honour from 2 to 13 November
Writers, artists, scientists and publishing houses are the protagonists of Italy’s participation as Guest of Honour Country at the Sharjah International Book Fair (United Arab Emirates, 2-13 November 2022), the Arab world’s largest literary fair. At the centre of the programme are fiction and poetry, children’s books, scientific popularisation, the protection of cultural heritage, gastronomic excellence, music, architecture, and theatre.
With the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Culture (Centre for Books and Reading), the Italian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, the Italian Cultural Institute of Abu Dhabi, ICE (Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies), and the AIE-Italian Publishers Association.
