Wien: Festival of Italian Literature

Vienna 5 March 2023.  The writer Paolo Di Paolo closed the Festival of Italian Literature in Vienna with a speech paying homage to Italo Calvino, whose birth centenary is being celebrated this year. During the festival, the Italian Cultural Institute hosted the exhibition ‘La Penna del Diplomatico’ in which books written over time by Italian diplomats were displayed. Participating in the Festival were Barbara Cantini, Cristina Cassar Scalia, Donatella Di Cesare, Claudio Magris, Daniele Mencarelli, Giacomo Pape, Sandra Petrignani, Guifo Tonelli and Ilaria Tuti.
