4 nascite. La sacralità della vita umana

‘The extreme root of hatred and of all the attacks against humanity – writes the pope emeritus Benedict XVI – is the loss of God. Where God vanishes, so does the absolute dignity of human life’. The book presents the ‘four births’ of man (in his mother\’s womb, into the world, into the faith, into heaven) and, at the same time, analises the related bioethical questions: abortion and artificial fecundation, the children neglect, the assisted suicide, euthanasy. What brings diversity from chapter to chapter together is love, which is shown in several aspects derived from its origin, its essence, its ways, its end. The author, underlying the relationship between science and faith, invites each one to discover again, in and outside the self, the presence of God, so that every human life can be respected, always, in its inviolability and sanctity.
