Cipì
by Lodi Mario
The real authors are the children: they are the ones who provoke, suggest, invent, tell their experience. Beyond the window of their classroom, the children of a small country school have discovered and annotated gradually, during the year, the life of sparrows on the roofs, in the courtyards, in the vegetable gardens. And so, the idea of writing their story together was born. The protagonists of the story are, with Cipì and his partner Passerì, a cat, a daisy-poet, many other sparrows and butterflies; and above all the sun, clouds, rain, all nature with the eternal cycle of seasons. The book narrates the discovery of the world with the dangers and obstacles that the protagonists face with the sole vital force of universal values: friendship, solidarity, freedom.
