È arrivata la prima lettera d’ingaggio: è sparita la penna di pavone più preziosa di Parigi. Madame Buffet l’ha ereditata dal bisnonno, famoso scrittore, e sua madre l’ha fatta ricoprire d’oro e pietre preziose. I tre topini, aiutati da Babette, si intrufolano nella Maison Buffet per indagare. Armati di un fiuto insuperabile, vista acuta, grande perspicacia e tanta fortuna, risolveranno il caso.
Maddalena Schiavo vive a Montecchio Maggiore. Dopo la laurea in Filosofia, lavora per molti anni in una biblioteca pubblica. La sua passione per la scrittura nasce assieme al piacere della lettura, fino a diventare autrice di testi per infanzia. In Italia ha pubblicato diversi libri per bambini e albi illustrati, segnalati nelle maggiori riviste specialistiche, tra le quali la rivista Andersen e nella stampa nazionale. Si occupa anche di letture animate e laboratori in scuole, biblioteche e librerie.

Léon, Cloé e Pascal are detectives at the 3 Moustaches Agency which can only be accessed by letter, slipped into the post box at Quai d’Orsay 93. Squeak, squeak! The first assignment letter has arrived: the most precious peacock feather in Paris has disappeared. Madame Buffet inherited it from her great-grandfather, a famous writer, and her mother had it covered in gold and precious stones. The three mice, helped by Babette, sneak into Maison Buffet to investigate. Armed with an unbeatable sense of smell, sharp eyesight, great insight and a lot of luck, they solve the case.
Maddalena Schiavo lives in Montecchio Maggiore. After graduating in Philosophy, she worked in a public library for many years. Her passion for writing was born alongside the pleasure of reading, until she finally became an author of children’s books. In Italy, she has published several children’s books and illustrated books, which have been featured in major specialized magazines, including the Andersen magazine, and in the national press. She is also involved in animated readings and workshops in schools, libraries and bookshops.
