Un Manuale dedicato al linguaggio della creta nei nidi e nelle scuole dell’infanzia comunali di Reggio Emilia, che presenta molte proposte ed esperienze, offrendo informazioni tecniche “scaldate” dal modo che i bambini hanno di utilizzare questa materia.
Da questo dialogo emergono le potenzialità espressive ma anche le sfide fisiche e gli inciampi creati dalla creta, e le strategie adottate per risolvere i problemi. Si svela inoltre il ruolo fondamentale dell’adulto che progetta contesti capaci di prefigurare nuove e diverse situazioni.
L’edizione inglese sarà pubblicata da Reggio Children Editore a dicembre 2025.
I nidi e scuole dell’infanzia di Reggio Emilia costituiscono un sistema comunale di 33 servizi dell’infanzia per bambine e bambini di 0-6 anni, rinomati nel mondo per l’innovatività e qualità dell’approccio pedagogico sviluppato dagli anni ’60 sotto la guida del prof. Loris Malaguzzi. Il libro è una scrittura corale, in primis dei bambini e bambine che frequentano e hanno frequentato i nidi e scuole da oltre trent’anni a questa parte, e di insegnanti, atelieristi, pedagogisti che li accompagnano ogni giorno.
Clay. Techniques, Experiences, Imaginaries
A manual dedicated to the “language” of clay in Reggio Emilia’s municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools. It offers many suggestions and experiences for education, with technical information “warmed up” by the way children make use of this material.
From this “dialogue” the many expressive potentials emerge, but also the physical challenges and stumbles created by the material, and the strategies adopted by the children to solve problems. Also emerging is the discreet and fundamental role of an adult who designs contexts capable of prefiguring new and different situations.
A Manual that speaks with a multiplicity of voices: the voice of clay, and of technical competency, the voice of children and teachers, and of the older children and adults frequenting ateliers of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
The English edition will be published by Reggio Children Publishing in December 2025.
The infant-toddler centres and preschools of Reggio Emilia constitute a municipal system of 33 early childhood services for children aged 0-6, renowned worldwide for the innovation and quality of the pedagogical approach developed since the 1960s under the guidance of Professor Loris Malaguzzi. The book is a collaborative effort, primarily by the children who have attended the infant-toddler centres and preschools for over thirty years, and by the teachers, atelieristas, and pedagogistas who accompany them every day.

本书是一本专门介绍雷焦艾米利亚市立托儿所和幼儿园“黏土语言”的手册，展示了丰富的教学建议与实践经验，提供了大量技术信息，同时融入了孩子使用这种材料的独特方式，使技术知识充满温度。
在这场与黏土的对话中，展现出这种材料的巨大表达潜力，也暴露出其带来的实体挑战与创作中的“绊脚石”，以及为解决这些问题所采取的种种策略。书中还揭示了成年人在其中的关键角色，他们通过创设情境、预演并开启多样创新的可能。
英文版将于2025年12月由雷焦儿童出版社出版。
本书由雷焦艾米利亚市幼教体系全体教师编撰（主编为C. 朱迪奇、M. 鲁奥齐、M. 泰代斯基、V. 韦基）。雷焦艾米利亚的幼教体系由33个面向0–6岁儿童的市立教育服务机构组成。自 20 世纪 60 年代以来，在洛里斯·马拉古齐教授的指导下，这一体系因其创新性与高质量的教育理念享誉全球。本书是一部集体创作，首要的作者为过去三十年来在托儿所和幼儿园学习生活过的孩子，也包括每天陪伴他们成长的教师、机构导师与教育工作者。
