From 2025 onwards, newitalianbooks is asking Italian booksellers all over the world to highlight the titles most in demand among their readers. With this initiative, newitalianbooks wants to strengthen the role of Italian booksellers abroad in promoting Italian books worldwide.

This month our guest bookshop is the Book in Bar – Librairie Internationale d’Aix-en-Provence.

Book in Bar is Anne, Eilish, Lucas, Marie, Luc and Anne-Philippe, a team of six knowledgeable, friendly, dynamic, welcoming, bilingual booksellers who are always on hand to offer advice. You can order, reserve or purchase any book in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese or any other language online, 24 hours a day. If you can’t find a book or if you need a bibliography, contact us by email or phone and we will be happy to search for you.

A busy and exciting calendar of events, book signings, readings, activities and conferences. Over 25,000 classic and contemporary works, selected according to the tastes of our booksellers and readers, as well as current events and university programmes.
