La svolta biopsichica. Quarantotto brevi meditazioni filosofiche controcorrente

Beyond matter and energy, or rather “beyond physics,” there exists a multitude of complex worlds related to living organisms, which necessarily have physical supports (elementary particles, atoms, molecules), but – as Plato would say – whose most characteristic dimensions (biological, psychic, and linguistic) surpass the physical supports in “dignity and power.” The reflections presented in this essay aim to guide philosophy from the current physical-mathematical paradigm to a new paradigm more closely connected to human beings and their main organizations, as biology, the psyche, and language. The author defines this paradigm shift as “the biopsychic turn” of philosophy.
