Vent’anni dopo. Omaggio a Hugo Pratt

by Vianello, Lele
Vent’anni dopo. Omaggio a Hugo Pratt

This highly poetic volume, dedicated by Lele Vianello to his friend and mentor twenty years after his death, is being released in Italy at the same time as in France. Lele Vianello drew these illustrations twenty years ago in 1996 for a collection entitled L’ultima ballata (the Last Ballad)… the originals were lost… To commemorate the death of Hugo Pratt, French publisher Mosquito asked Vianello to redraw the lost illustrations, accompanying them with watercolours, texts and some ballads and poems that were dear to Hugo Pratt. For Italian readers, this is the rediscovery of a lost work in an elegant and original format.
