Tecnologia e società
by Gallino, Luciano
Technology is a fundamental element of human evolution, not only socially and culturally, but also biologically. Since the time of the Encyclopédie, it has been understood as the rational improvement of the arts through scientific study. Luciano Gallino has analyzed the connections between technology and society, unmasking prejudices and unfounded fears, while recognizing that new technologies, concentrated in the hands of a few, pose unprecedented challenges. He emphasizes that it is no longer enough to consider them simple man-made tools: their impact requires deeper reflection.
