Paris: Vitaliano Trevisan’s Works in French

To mark the publication of the novel Works (Prix Sila ’49 in 2016) in French translation by Éditions Verdier, on 11 March 2026, at 6.30 p.m., the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris is hosting a meeting on the work of the novelist, prose writer, playwright and actor Vitaliano Trevisan, who died in 2022. The translators of the author’s masterpiece, Christophe Mileschi (University of Paris X-Nanterre) and Martin Rueff (University of Geneva), will be in conversation with Andrea Cortellessa, literary critic and professor of contemporary Italian literature (Roma Tre University), as well as Giorgia Bongiorno and Laura Toppan, senior lecturers (University of Lorraine).
