The Spanish edition of the “Guide to Grants and Awards forTranslation of Italian Books into Foreign Languages” is now online

From today, 14 May 2026, the Spanish edition of the “Guide to Grants and Awards for the Translation of Italian Books into Foreign Languages” is available on the newitalianbooks portal.

The result of a collaborative effort with the partners of newitalianbooks, as well as other institutions such as SEPS (European Secretariat for Scientific Publications), the Guide brings together and summarises, in language that is as clear and simple as possible, all the various support schemes for the publication of Italian books in foreign languages, which are scattered across different organisations and can sometimes be difficult to find. The Spanish edition has been produced ahead of the upcoming Guadalajara Book Fair, where Italy will be the guest of honour.

The Guide is now available in digital format on the website in four language versions:

Italian, French, English and Spanish.
