Arci is a horse that lives at Gigi’s riding school. He is so kind, affectionate, and intelligent that everyone is a friend of him. Everyone except his unscrupulous, wealthy owner, Mr. Gropponi, who wants to turn him into a racehorse to make himself even richer. But when he goes to fetch him one morning, he finds Arci’s stable empty. Could it be a joke played by the children who attend the riding school? Beatrice, Lubna, Leo and Manuel, however, seem to know nothing about it.
Suddenly, a terrifying monster appears out of the mist on the moor: a werehorse, the existence of which is shrouded in frightening legends. Could this terrible creature have something to do with Arci’s disappearance?
