Cesare Lombroso, a forensic psychiatrist and handwriting analyst, is urgently summoned to the presidential estate of Castelporziano. With him is his assistant, Marta Bouvier. A Carabinieri officer has been murdered inside the park: in his pocket, a single clue—an enigmatic handwritten note. In a sealed location under maximum surveillance, new murders shatter every certainty. No connection between the victims, no apparent motive. Only a trail of indecipherable messages.
