A casa nel mondo. Pedagogia dei luoghi ed esperienze educative estese
‘La pedagogia dei luoghi’ focuses on design experiences rooted in the world and in the communities that surround us. Educational paths outside the school take advantage of public spaces, parks, museums, theatres, partnerships with local businesses and associations and the involvement of families. These activities are connected to the pedagogy of places approach which has its roots in progressive education and critical pedagogy and identifies in community places a privileged dimension to promote participation and meaningful and motivating learning.
Cinzia Zadra is a PhD and researcher at the Free University of Bolzano, where she teaches general and social pedagogy. She has experience as a contract teacher in multilingual and multicultural contexts in Italy and abroad.
