Categorie della politica. Dopo destra e sinistra
The reading of politics through the Right/Left schema has served an ideological function that, since the 1980s, has gradually nullified the traditional families – socialism, popularism, social right – by crushing them on neoliberalism. Today, understanding political space requires different tools that abandon this binary representation.
Vincenzo Costa teaches Theoretical Philosophy at the Vita-Salute University of Milan. Trained within the phenomenological tradition, he is the author of monographs on Husserl, Heidegger, phenomenological psychology, and phenomenological pedagogy, and in some of his most recent works he has dealt with the relationship between consumption and power on the one hand and between elites and populism on the other.
