Two pages of the Voynich Manuscript, once kept in the Aragonese Castle of Ischia and considered the most mysterious document in the world, have disappeared. Many people are following the tracks of the text, dating back to the fifteenth century: on the one hand Giacomo De Marinis, anthropologist, and his crew, attracted by a project that aims to make Ischia and Procida two world outposts of a vision of ecology aimed at save the planet; on the other, an international holding cynically interested only in gain and power. From the investigation of the protagonist emerges the arcane face of the two islands with all their surprising heritage of myths and rituals. And, when the discovery of the missing pages and the discovery of the ultimate truths seem close to everyone, a sudden and unexpected event takes shape and scratches the reader\’s heart…
