Chiamami adulto. Come stare in relazione con gli adolescenti
by Lancini, Matteo
In Chiamami adulto (Call Me Adult), the book that concludes the trilogy that began in 2021 with L’età tradita (The Betrayed Age), Matteo Lancini explores the multiple contexts and ways in which adolescents build relationships: from family to school, from digital environments to psychotherapy rooms, from peer groups to romantic relationships. Starting from some ideas already introduced in Sii te stesso a modo mio (Be Yourself My Way), such as the lack of future prospects and the fragility of adulthood that often hinders authentic dialogue, the author delves deeper, revealing what it really takes to get closer to young people: listening and an empathetic presence. Through concrete examples, personal stories and incisive reflections, the book offers parents, teachers and psychologists the tools to overcome the urgency of doing and to finally learn to be in a relationship, helping young people to no longer feel alone among others, but understood and supported.
