The first chapter presents a short excursus on the dramaturgical analysis of the myth, identifying the expressive and interpretative culmination in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”. The second chapter focuses on the dramaturgical-musical analysis of Mozart’s work. The third and last part focuses on the concepts of “opera direction” and “authorship”, based in particular on the stage representations by Giorgio Strehler, Peter Brook, Peter Sellars, Calixto Bieito and Robert Carsen
