I due fiammiferi
by Stevenson Robert LouisA short story, not just for kids, in which the simple gesture of lighting a match to smoke the pipe reveals its transgressive potential, drawing a realistic and terrible situation that vanishes in a few lines, with a mocking but relieved look of the protagonist. The apocalyptic atmosphere envisioned by the author is interpreted by Daniele Nannini as a magnificent dream, in which the reader participates from a safe distance in the unfolding of a richly thought-provoking reality and indulges in the relief of the escaped danger.
