This is the first of the new “Variant File” series edited by IBN Editore. The text is bilingual (Italian and English) and it is a detailed guide on the versions and the development of one of the most famous german planes of the Second World War. The first part deals with the initial genesis and the phototypes to the A-4 version, including photos of the real aircraft on how to build a Tamiya 1/48 scale model kit. Mauro Ferri was born on 1971 in Rome, where he actually lives with his wife and children. Always keen on aviation, after getting his Diploma on Expert on Air Traffic he entered the AMI as an assistant technician of constructions. He collaborates with various specialized magazines and with IBN and Aviolibri publishing houses. On 1999 he leaves the A.M.I. and enters Alitalia as a Flight Dispatcher.
