Giacomo Puccini. Ricordi e aneddoti

For a long time Giacomo Puccini has been considered as a second level artist in the musical scenario of the last century; now things have changed and the same is indicated as an important composer in the music scene of the late nineteenth century and the beginnings of the following one; indeed, we can say that he contributed to the musical revolution of that period. A remarkable recognition, therefore, acquired both internationally, where Puccini has always remained on the crest of the wave, and nationally, where he has often been underestimated for the lack of a serious critical investigation concerning his artistic production. This essay reconstructs some aspects of Giacomo Puccini\’s personal life, taking the reader to the places dear to the teacher, between often unknown anecdotes and curiosities.
