Gli Angeli Sterminatori

Little or nothing has been written on one of the most extraordinary aspects of the Second World War: female soldiers, an exclusive peculiarity of the Soviet Union, and even less has the topic of women snipers been addressed. Just under two thousand highly skilled marksmen who sowed panic among the German ranks and killed at least twenty thousand enemy soldiers. In the West very little has been published on these \’angels of death\’ and it is thanks to the author, a European expert on Soviet aviators, that we have tried to fill this gap, as far as possible, by offering due recognition to those who can be defined among the most heroic and unknown fighters in history.

Gian Piero Milanetti graduated in Literature. Start teaching literary subjects in middle school. At the same time he began to collaborate with the newspaper \’Il Messaggero\’, becoming a freelance journalist. Subsequently he collaborates with the newspapers: “Il Tempo”, “Il Gazzettino di Venezia” and “il Giornale”.
