20th-century Sicilian narrative and new trends. A tribute to Andrea Camilleri
The Italian Cultural Institute of Prague, in collaboration with the Charles University of Prague’s Department of Italian Studies, is organising a roundtable on “20th-century Sicilian narrative and new trends. A tribute to Andrea Camilleri”, with the participation of Professor Giuseppe Marci, who teaches Italian Philology and Sardinian Literature at Cagliari University, Professor Alice Flemrová, who teaches Italian Literature at the Charles University, and the writers Stefania Auci and Nadia Terranova.
The event, in Italian (with simultaneous interpreting provided in Czech), will take place on 18 February at 6 PM and be available on Zoom. The roundtable will be preceded by a short welcome from Magdaléna Feldeková, editor-in-chief of Metafora, which published the Czech translation of the novel “I leoni di Sicilia” by Stefania Auci, and Jindřich Jůzl, editor-in-chief of Odeon, which published the Czech translation of “Addio, fantasmi” by Nadia Terranova.
