An anthology of poems by Sandro Penna

To mark World Poetry Day 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute of Kraków has edited an anthology of poems by Sandro Penna. This work is part of a publishing project promoted by the Institute in collaboration with publishers Austeria (Kraków/Budapest/Syracuse) and Prof. Jarek Mikołajewski (linguist and translator, and former director of the Polish Institute in Rome). The project is aimed at creating a series of classic works of twentieth-century Italian poetry. The works of authors such as Ungaretti, Pavese, Quasimodo, Levi, Pasolini, Merini and Magrelli have already been published as part of this project.
