From Paris: Giorgio Bassani’s poetry

On the occasion of the publication by Feltrinelli of the first critical edition of all Giorgio Bassani’s poems, edited by Anna Dolfi, two initiatives in France pay tribute to Giorgio Bassani’s poetry: on 9 September a new bilingual edition, revised and expanded, of a selection of his poems will be published in the Parisian series of the “Cahiers de l’Hôtel de Galliffet” (see https://cahiersgalliffet.com/produit/poemes-6/); on 15 October, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Paris and the Fondazione Giorgio Bassani, with the collaboration of the Regione Emilia-Romagna, are organising an international colloquium on Bassani’s poetry, with the participation of specialists from Italy, France, Great Britain and the USA (https://iicparigi.esteri.it/iic_parigi/fr/).
