Introduction by Giuseppe Restuccia, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Stuttgart and Albertina Fontana (Responsible for ‘Sciascia lectures in the world’ for Germany)

Lezioni sciasciane nel mondo is an initiative promoted by the Sciascia Centenary National Committee, led by Senator Emma Bonino and by the Amici di Leonardo Sciascia Association, in collaboration with the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and the Istituto per l’Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, and supported by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation. The lecture will take place in German and will be streamed on the Facebook pages of the Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, the Associazione Amici di Leonardo Sciascia, “Todomodo” and the Olschki publishing house.
