Il codice Genesi

by Lupi, Nicola
Il codice Genesi

2034. Planet Earth is now on the brink of climate collapse due to the damage caused by human activity. An engineering program has tested a way to ensure that humanity survives the climate catastrophe: sending a select few to the International Space Station, so that life—meaning the human species—can continue to exist outside Earth, which has become nearly uninhabitable.
Journalist Santo Musi and Air Force Major Diego Baronchelli are assigned a mission: uncover the truth behind an ancient archaeological find discovered years earlier in Egypt by Diego’s grandfather—a mummified finger belonging to one of the Giants who inhabited the Earth before the Great Flood. But they are not alone: shady individuals are on their trail, determined to stop their mission and keep hidden a secret concealed for years by the New World Order, a secret that could mean both the ruin and the salvation of humanity, now standing at the edge of the abyss.
Thus begins a race against time to save mankind, from Rome to Ireland, from Egypt to Alaska, and finally into the dark depths of the Ecuadorian forest. On their mission they will be joined by many familiar faces, such as Father Filippo Temperini and the uncompromising meteorologist Sonya Klum, all while being constantly watched by a great, ancient, hostile eye.
