Il pilota polacco che sfidò la Luftwaffe (The Polish Pilot Who Challenged the Luftwaffe) is the second volume in a new series dedicated to the great air battles of the past. It tells the story of a Polish fighter pilot, Lieutenant Marcin, who, after the German invasion of Poland, managed to flee to England to continue fighting for the freedom of his country and of Europe as a whole. Through the figure of this pilot, we retrace the main military actions involving the Poles against Hitler’s Germany in the air war during the Second World War.
