Alain Cancilleri has attended several illustration courses, in particular those of the International School of Illustration in Sarmede with Jozef Wilkon, Linda Wolfsgruber and Anna Castagnoli, and participated in illustration competitions, such as I Colori del Sacro in Padua, LuccaJunior, Tapirulan in Cremona, NamiCouncurs in Korea. For years he worked as a graphic designer in Tuscany.
