A woodcutter goes out early in the morning to do his work, until one day he notices that the whole forest has disappeared, except for one tree, in which the animals are all hidden… What to do? The Woodcutter is a wordless book by Alain Cancilleri that tells a story of silence and poetry to reconcile with nature, stimulate interdependence and respect for life.
Alain Cancilleri has attended several illustration courses, in particular those of the International School of Illustration in Sarmede with Jozef Wilkon, Linda Wolfsgruber and Anna Castagnoli, and participated in illustration competitions, such as I Colori del Sacro in Padua, LuccaJunior, Tapirulan in Cremona, NamiCouncurs in Korea. For years he worked as a graphic designer in Tuscany.
