Daniela Pareschi, illustratrice e pittrice con un passato da art-director nel cinema, ha pubblicato libri illustrati per diverse case editrici e le sue opere sono state esposte in mostre collettive e personali. Nel 2016 ha vinto il concorso “Illustratore dell’anno” per il calendario della Città del Sole. Nel 2018 le sue illustrazioni sono state selezionate per la Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi di Bologna. Nel 2021 è stata scelta nella selezione “Lo spettatore bambino” nell’ambito della Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Per Il Barbagianni Editore ha pubblicato nel 2017 il libro Piangete, bambini!. Nel 2024 ha pubblicato Strano, un libro illustrato per bambini (età 4+) per Barbagianni Editore.

What do the arctic fox and the stonefish have in common? And the ostrich and the elephant seal? Science has always categorized animals according to a rigid and complex classification. But what would happen if we used a different, immediately comprehensible criterion, juxtaposing species that are very far apart but share a significant characteristic? The result would be imaginative but reasoned categories, ironic but verified, discovering extraordinary creatures, animals… beautiful!

Daniela Pareschi, is an illustrator and painter with a background as an art-director in film, she has published illustrated books for various publishing houses and her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions. In 2016, she won the ‘Illustrator of the Year’ competition for the City of the Sun calendar. In 2018, her illustrations were selected for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. In 2021, she was chosen in the selection ‘The Child Spectator’ as part of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. For Il Barbagianni Editore and published in 2017 the book “Piangete, bambini!”. In 2024 she has published Strano (Weird), an illustrated book for children (Age 4+) by Barbagianni Editore.

《奇妙的动物》的版权已售出至德国的“格斯滕贝格”出版社、俄罗斯的戈罗德茨和拉斯卡出版社。
已两次再版，销量超过四千五百册。
该书被意大利国际儿童图书协会选入2024 年法兰克福书展展示图书。
丹妮拉·帕雷斯基，插画家、画家，曾担任电影艺术指导。她在多家出版社出版了插画，其作品曾在多个群展和个展中展出。2016年，她凭借“太阳之城”日历作品获得了“年度插画师”比赛一等奖。2018年，她的插画作品入选了博洛尼亚国际儿童图书展。2021年，她被选入博洛尼亚儿童书展中的“儿童观众”项目。2017年，她在巴尔巴贾尼出版社出版了《哭吧，孩子们！》。2024年又在该社推出了儿童绘本《奇异之旅》（适合4岁以上儿童）。

Walkabout Literary Agency
Walkabout Literary Agency è stata fondata nel 2014 e da allora opera con successo nell’ambito dell’editoria libraria, della vendita dei diritti di traduzione e delle licenze cinematografiche e televisive. WLA rappresenta autori di narrativa letteraria e commerciale, saggistica e di narrativa per bambini e ragazzi. Ombretta Borgia is Owner and Rights and Contract Manager, she has been Portuguees translator and she has worked during 12 years as a Foreign Rights Manager for Editori Riuniti, before creating the agency.
