Buonvento ti porta a ... scuola
Una sorprendente storia illustrata nata da una penna d’eccezione: Paola Mastrocola. In un paese pieno di abitanti indaffarati, arriva una novità: è una scuola, che si muove sopra a delle rotelle. Dalla piazza chiama a gran voce i più piccini, ma la Signora Malalingua li mette in guardia: se andranno a scuola, tutto il divertimento svanirà! La scuola, rimasta vuota, è sola e molto infelice… Per fortuna il Signor Buonvento con una sola folata trasporta tutti gli scolari sui banchi tranne… un piccolo mulo testardo. Eppure sarà proprio la scuola ad aiutarlo a realizzare il suo sogno!

Paola Mastrocola (Torino, 1956) ha insegnato letteratura in un liceo scientifico. Autrice premiata di saggi e romanzi per adulti e bambini (Premio Calvino, Premio Campiello, finalista al Premio Strega), ha spesso affrontato temi e questioni legate al mondo della scuola, sia dal punto di vista degli insegnanti che degli studenti. Questo è il suo primo libro illustrato per bambini.
Oliver Weiss lavora come autore e illustratore. Tra i suoi clienti figurano “The New York Times”, “Chronicle Books”, American Automobile Association, “Scientific American”, Penguin Random House, “Der Spiegel”, “National Geographic”, Munich Oktoberfest e la Johns Hopkins University. Tra gli altri progetti, ha sviluppato le copertine di libri di successo di Yuval Noah Harari e Richard David Precht. Il suo libro illustrato Die Öblings kommen! ha ricevuto il premio “Meefisch” come miglior libro per bambini in lingua tedesca nel 2023.

In a town full of busy inhabitants, there is a new arrival: it’s a school, moving on wheels. From the square, it calls out loudly to the youngest, but Mrs. Malalingua warns them: if they go to school, all the fun will disappear! The school, now empty, is lonely and very unhappy… Luckily, Mr. Buonvento, with a single gust of wind, transports all the children to their desks, except for… a little stubborn mule. Yet, it will be the school that helps him realize his dream!

Paola Mastrocola (Turin, 1956) taught literature at a scientific high school. As an award-winning author of essays and novels for both adults and children (Premio Calvino,Premio Campiello,finalist at Premio Strega), she has often addressed themes and issues related to the world of schools, from both the perspective of teachers and students. This is her first illustrated picture book.
Oliver Weiss works as an author and illustrator. His clients include The New York Times, Chronicle Books, American Automobile Association, Scientific American, Penguin Random House, Der Spiegel, National Geographic, Munich Oktoberfest, and Johns Hopkins University. Among other projects, he developed book covers for bestsellers by Yuval Noah Harari and Richard David Precht. 宝拉·马斯特罗科拉，1956年出生于都灵，曾在一所理科高中教授文学。她创作过多部面向成人和儿童的随笔和小说，曾获卡尔维诺奖、坎皮埃洛奖，作品入围斯特雷加奖。她常常从老师和学生的角度出发，写关于学校的作品。这是她首次创作儿童绘本。
奥利弗·韦斯，作家、插画师。他曾与《纽约时报》《明镜周刊》《国家地理》，纪事出版社、美国汽车协会、科学美国人、企鹅兰登书屋、慕尼黑啤酒节，以及约翰霍普金斯大学等合作。其中，他曾为尤瓦尔·赫拉利和理查德·大卫·普雷希特的畅销书设计封面。他的绘本《小欧布灵一家来了！》荣获2023年德语区最佳儿童图书“梅菲施”奖。
