Paola Mastrocola (Torino, 1956) ha insegnato letteratura in un liceo scientifico. Autrice premiata di saggi e romanzi per adulti e bambini (Premio Calvino, Premio Campiello, finalista al Premio Strega), ha spesso affrontato temi e questioni legate al mondo della scuola, sia dal punto di vista degli insegnanti che degli studenti. Questo è il suo primo libro illustrato per bambini.
Oliver Weiss lavora come autore e illustratore. Tra i suoi clienti figurano « The New York Times », « Chronicle Books », American Automobile Association, « Scientific American », Penguin Random House, « Der Spiegel », « National Geographic », Munich Oktoberfest e la Johns Hopkins University. Tra gli altri progetti, ha sviluppato le copertine di libri di successo di Yuval Noah Harari e Richard David Precht. Il suo libro illustrato Die Öblings kommen! ha ricevuto il premio « Meefisch » come miglior libro per bambini in lingua tedesca nel 2023.

Paola Mastrocola (Turin, 1956) taught literature at a scientific high school. As an award-winning author of essays and novels for both adults and children (Premio Calvino,Premio Campiello,finalist at Premio Strega), she has often addressed themes and issues related to the world of schools, from both the perspective of teachers and students. This is her first illustrated picture book.
Oliver Weiss works as an author and illustrator. His clients include The New York Times, Chronicle Books, American Automobile Association, Scientific American, Penguin Random House, Der Spiegel, National Geographic, Munich Oktoberfest, and Johns Hopkins University. Among other projects, he developed book covers for bestsellers by Yuval Noah Harari and Richard David Precht.
