La città è ogni giorno più grigia e spoglia: non c’è più spazio per la natura. Gli adulti sembrano non vedere il problema: servirebbe quasi… una magia. E mentre tutti dormono, il prodigio accade: gli alberi spuntano, crescono, sempre di più. A nulla serve tagliarli per lasciare spazio ai parcheggi: la notte seguente crescono ancora più numerosi. C’entra per caso quello strano signore col cappotto verde che si aggira per le strade lasciando scivolare qualcosa dalle tasche?
Una storia “verde” che non si ferma alla sola denuncia: è permeata da un senso di speranza. L’impegno intergenerazionale è la strada per prendersi cura del nostro pianeta.
Nato in Svizzera, Davide Calì è fumettista, illustratore e autore per bambini. Tra Francia, Stati Uniti, Italia e Portogallo, ha all’attivo più di 150 pubblicazioni, tradotte in numerose lingue. È appassionato di fumetti. Nel 2025 ha ricevuto il premio Andersen Italia come Migliore Autore.

The city grows grayer and more desolate every day. There’s no space left for nature. The grown-ups apparently don’t even notice. For that to happen, it would almost take … magic. But while everyone’s asleep, a miracle happens: trees sprout and grow. And there’s no point cutting them down to make room for parking, because even more grow back the night after. Does that strange man in the green coat have something to do with it? The one who wanders around the streets scattering something from his pockets?

Born in Switzerland, Davide Calì is a cartoonist, illustrator and children’s author. Between France, the United States, Italy and Portugal, he has more than 150 publications to his credit, translated into numerous languages. Recipient of the 2025 Italian Andersen Award for Best Author.

大卫・卡利生于瑞士，是一名儿童漫画家、插画师兼作家。他的创作足迹遍布法国、美国、意大利和葡萄牙，已出版作品超150部，并被翻译成多种语言。他对漫画怀有极大热情，2025年荣获意大利安徒生奖“最佳作家”称号。
