The pack can succeed in making us no longer feel alone, protect us and envelop us in a dimension of warmth, but sometimes this comes at the expense of our sensitivity, our principles and our way of life. It is then that we have the opportunity to embark on a process of separation from others and identification of the self.
Amanda Cley lives in a colourful little house on an island in the Venetian lagoon. She writes, for herself and sometimes for others, paints abstract pictures and plays the piano. In her spare time she furnishes and invents furniture (which her carpenter husband makes), for her friends and her friends’ friends.
