When your parents don’t let you keep pets, there’s only one thing you can do: secretly get some hamsters. Then you can feed them, build them a house, play with them, sew clothes for them, give them sunglasses, and, why not, even a car. The only problem is that if your hamsters are a couple, you could very soon find yourself having to deal with more and more hamsters…
Martina Tonello is an illustrator and aspiring carpenter. She likes to explore new places, like a desk drawer, a path in the forest or a new city street. She was born in Padua in 1993, and she currently lives in Bologna, where she spends her time inventing stories and creating workshops for children. Her works were published by Electa Kids, Piemme and Editoriale Scienza.
