L’usignolo
Many years ago the Emperor of China lived in the most beautiful kingdom in the world, of such a splendor that visitors from every known country continually came to admire it, but from that kingdom the greatest prodigy was a nightingale, whose singing was the sweetest ever heard. So one day the emperor wanted the extraordinary bird to be brought to the palace, to perform in front of his court.
Fairy tales, myths and classic legends, always green in the childhood of every child of yesterday and today, now wear new clothes in this \’square\’ size series with large and colorful illustrations and short texts.
Elena Ceccato, illustrator from Cremona graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and subsequently in illustration for publishing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, specializes in illustration for children with the Master Ars in Fabula, where realizes the first project for an illustrated book. Since 2016, he has worked with various Italian publishers including Carthusia and Rizzoli Education.
