Merci senza frontiere. Come il libero scambio deprime occupazioni e salari

The increasing openness to international trade was one of the main aspects of the Europe-wide abandonment of full employment policies. This abandonment has greatly increased the power of capital, resulting in a momentous redistribution of income in favor of the wealthier sections of the population. This volume analyzes the channels through which free trade contributed to the worsening of the general living conditions of the working classes and identifies the industrial and trade policies needed to resume a path of employment and wage growth.
