A whirlwind adventure in the territory of Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci.
Nina, Lori and Jamal are in Urbino, in the middle of the Renaissance, just when Leonardo Da Vinci has decided to place his genius at the service of ‘Valentino’ – the fearsome Cesare Borgia. But the great inventor realises that he has made a terrible mistake: Cesare Borgia’s lust for power is dangerous. He could ravage the whole of Italy and overthrow the country with a new war. The three youngsters therefore have to run to the aid of the great Tuscan genius. Now aware of the intentions of the man he has decided to serve, Leonardo wants to destroy one of his large, dangerous inventions, which is hidden in a safe place. The only clue available to the youngsters to find the secret place is hidden inside the painting of the Virgin of the Rocks. The friends must face a great time paradox in order to destroy Leonardo’s greatest and most dangerous invention – the tank – making sure it doesn’t fall into the hands of Cesare Borgia and Macchiavelli.

Fiore Manni is an Italian author, illustrator, and content creator. After studying fashion design and working in television, she now writes full time and shares her passion for books online. Her stories span contemporary fiction, fantasy, and graphic novels. Her acclaimed Fox King saga (Rizzoli, 2023–2024) received the Lucca Comics & Games Community Award. She is also the author of Like Cicadas (Rizzoli, 2021), a contemporary coming-of-age novel praised for its sensitivity and emotional depth, and translated into several languages.
Michele Monteleone is an Italian comic book writer. Born in Rome in 1987, he is best known for his work on the acclaimed series Dylan Dog and Orfani for Sergio Bonelli Editore. He also co-created Senzombra for BAO Publishing and Mask’d for Star Comics. In the past year, he published his first horror novel, Nel buio della casa, co-written with his wife Fiore Manni. He is currently working on a new comic book miniseries for Edizioni BD.
Andrea Oberosler was born in 1988, he has always been passionate about drawing and animation. He primarily works with traditional techniques, using a Bic pen as his signature tool. In 2019, he won the Gold Award in the Publishing category of the Annual by Autori di Immagini. He is a lecturer in illustration and animation at the Istituto Design Palladio in Verona and The Sign Comics & Arts Academy in Florence.
