Neurofinance is an innovative field of research that studies the biological and neuronal determinants that affect the economic choices of individuals. Thanks to laboratory experiments and field studies, it is possible to identify the conditions that influence decision making and the related brain networks that are activated during these processes. Moreover, more and more operators and financial companies see neurofinance as a valid tool to strengthen the relationship with current and prospective clients, as well as to improve the decision-making process related to their internal operations. This volume, which is the result of the collaboration of a number of authors who are experts in the field, aims to represent a point of reference for all those who want to deepen the issues related to the world of neuroscience applied to finance, offering readers a summary of the main results achieved to date in this area. The book is aimed at a wide audience of readers, starting with savers and retail investors, who can understand how biological determinants, and not only behavioural ones, very often lead them to make decisions other than those that would rationally be optimal. Professionals in the world of financial advisory and asset management will also be able to draw interesting insights from your reading, to be shared with current or prospective clients.
