New York: Multipli forti. Voices of Contemporary Italian Literature

From 25 to 29 April 2023, the second edition of Multipli forti. Voices of Contemporary Italian Literature will take place in New York, an initiative for the promotion of Italian literature aimed at the reading public and the international publishing world (publishing houses, literary agencies, editors, translators).

Promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, directed by Fabio Finotti, with the collaboration of the Italian Unitary Federation of Writers (FUIS), the Festival is conceived and curated by Maria Ida Gaeta, supported by a leading group of scholars and experts: Alessandro Giammei (Yale University), Eugenio Refini (New York University), Monica Calabritto (Hunter College, CUNY), Chiara Benetollo (Bryn Mawr College) and the Americanist Luca Briasco.

Guest writers among others include Cristina Ubah Ali Fara, Viola Di Grado, Claudia Durastanti, Marcello Fois, Antonio Franchini, Fumettibrutti, Antonella Lattanzi, Antonio Monda, Walter Siti, Chiara Valerio, Giorgio Vasta.

The meetings will take place at various venues in New York (the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, the Center For Italian Modern Art, the Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimò, the Rizzoli Bookstore) and Boston (the Consulate General of Italy, the Boston Public Library, the Chilton Club.
