Nuovo Contatto

Nuovo Contatto is an Italian language and civilisation course for foreigners in 5 volumes covering levels from A1 to C1. Each volume of the course is divided into a book for the student, a section of exercises and an appendix of grammatical synthesis.

The course can be adapted by the teacher to the needs of the class and he can autonomously structure the path in the Units.

The approach is pragmatic and communicative but does not forget the development and systematic learning of grammar. The Units have been structured for offering a balanced interaction among the different syllabi. They focus equally on the grammatical syllabus, the  notional-functional approach ,the lexical syllabus, phonetics, as well as on the communicative competence and cultural syllabi.

The box \’Let\’s make the point\’ allows to systematically review the communicative functions.

The course promotes passive language learning  through activities which make the student focus on language content rather than on formal aspects.
