History of integration to break down the wall of stereotypes and prejudices. The Fares family, of Moroccan origin and of Islamic religion, are living in Italy. The father Salim, the mother Nur, the daughters Raya and Amal and the younger son Hadi make part of it. Children are suspended between religion and free choice, poised between what society expects and what they actually feel they are. They will meet friendships, disparities, misunderstandings, fears and moments of discovery and closeness.
Francesca Ceci, Collaborator of Café Babel-European Magazine, is the author of articles, reviews, short stories published in anthologies and literary magazines (Nazione Indiana, Scrittori Precari, Sagarana, Paese Sera). Per Tunué she is the author of the graphic novel for children Badù, winner of the “Città di Como” literary prize.
