The fox and the dormouse in this picture book have a strong friendship that nothing or no one can break. But winter is coming and Hazel the dormouse has to hibernate and they have to part. This makes his friend Little Red fox very unhappy. The last moments they spend together will be fundamental to gradually face the separation and to say goodbye. Giorgio Volpe was born in, Germany, but grew up in the Calabria region of Italy. He has lived in Barcelona, Paris, and now Rome, which has been his home for more than a decade. In 2014 he founded the theater company Giù di Sù per Giù which has produced several plays he has written.To his credits as an actor and playwright, he adds children’s book author. He has written a several titles.
