Raphael. The Life of a Genius

by Cerboni Baiardi Anna
Raphael. The Life of a Genius

This book recounts the life of Raphael, 500 years after his death, and presents the countless aspects of the genius’ inimitable artistic experience.
Particular emphasis is placed on the management of his studio: more than any other artist, Raphael was regarded as an entrepreneur who organised and directed an exceptional group of collaborators. It was a modern organisation far ahead of its time that also included a kind of self-promotion comparable to modern marketing.
