Meeting the other, as it is, is always transformative. The willingness to include and integrate novelty and divergence is an indicative sign of the health of an individual and a community and its hope for change and growth. This text is addressed both to practitioners engaged in caring and growing relationships (such as psychologists, psychiatrists, educators, social workers, nurses) and to parents and families, with the intention of contributing to evolutionary social processes.
